ChickenCoopCalc (chickencoopcalc.com) is a free calculator site owned by Jeremy Panasuk, New Auburn, Wisconsin. It is built to collect as little information as possible.
Information we collect
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The values you enter (bird count, bird size, weeks, bag price, nest style, coop size, winter low, and whether you have chicks) are not transmitted to or stored on our servers. They exist only in your browser session. We do not require accounts and do not collect names, emails, or personal profiles through the calculator.
The only script files this site hosts are these three. The homepage loads all of them. Topic and guide pages load one of them, or none:
- assets/app.js does the coop, feed, nest, and winter math in the page.
- assets/monetization.js is on the homepage. It fills Amazon links after a calculation. If you dismiss the Amazon bar, it stores that dismissal in
sessionStoragefor the tab. That flag is not sent to us. - assets/magnet-cta.js is on the homepage and the topic map. It adds a link to the printable coop card and a link to the TikTok profile @3jsa7.
Advertising
This site does not load Google AdSense or any other display-ad script.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain affiliate links to Amazon.com through the Amazon Associates program. Those links use the tag generatorsi0d-20. If you follow one and buy something, the site earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not change the calculator math. After you leave this site, Amazon may set its own cookies under Amazon's policies.
Analytics and cookies
We do not run our own analytics and do not set our own tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.
